Society for Natural Language Technology Research (SNLTR), Kolkata under the aegis of Department of Information Technology & Electronics, Govt. of West Bengal (DITE, GoWB) designed and developed SelfScan as a free mobile app. This SERVICE is provided by SNLTR, DITE, GoWB at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use our Service.
By choosing to use our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. SelfScan does never ask any of its users to provide any kind of Personal Information. Hence, there is no issue of using or sharing your information with anyone.
The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at SelfScan unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.
For a better experience and improvement of facilities that come with SelfScan, we may require your feedback. The information that we request will be retained by us and will only be used for enhancing the efficacy of SelfScan

As per our design policy we do not collect any log data of your mobile. We do not authorize any third-party to do that on our behalf.
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory. SelfScan does not use cookies whatsoever.
We avail third-party service only for the distribution of SelfScan. Following are the names of the three (3) third-party service providers authorized to distribute SelfScan on our behalf. We do not authorize any of these three third-parties to collect, share, collaborate with the users of SelfScan on our behalf.
As per our policy we don't collect any of your personal information. We respect your privacy. We employ no such mechanism to collect and share your personal data. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secured and reliable. We cannot guarantee its absolute security.
SelfScan may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of those websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

SelfScan does not address anyone under the age of 18. We do never collect any personal information from any of the users of SelfScan. There is no provision in SelfScan to collect any personal information whatsoever.
